10.8.3 Checking the configuration
Run the following commands to check the previous configuration.

Check information about the
PVC.
display atm pvc-info [ interface interface-type
interface-number [ .subinterface ] [ pvc { pvc-name
[ vpi/vci ] | vpi/vci } ] ]
Check information about the
PVC-group.
display atm pvc-group [ interface { interface-type
interface-number [ .subinterface ] } [ pvc { pvc-name
[ vpi/vci ] | vpi/vci } ] ]
Run the display atm pvc-info command. The configuration succeeds when information such
as the PVC status and the interface status appears.

Run the display atm pvc-group command. The configuration succeeds when information
such as PVC-group status and PVC number appears.

10.9 Configuring the service type of PVC
10.9.1 Establishing the configuration task
Applicable environment
In networking, to configure the service type and the related parameters of a PVC (including
the PVCs in the PVC-Group), you need to configure service cbr or ubr of PVC.
Preconfiguration tasks
Before configuring the service types or OAM parameters , complete the following tasks:
• Configuring physical attributes for the ATM interface
• Configuring an IP address and mask for the ATM interface or sub-interface
• Creating a PVC and configuring application modes
Data preparation
To configure the service type of PVC or PVP, you need the following data.
