Configuration -WAN Access 8 Frame relay configuration
The main interface of FR is the point-to-multipoint interface. The sub-interface has the P2P
interface and the P2MP interface. FR compression includes configuration on a point-to-point
interface or on a point-to-multipoint interface.
CÛ NOTE
• The FRF. 9 compression is applicable for low-speed links.
• The MFR link does not use the FRF. 9 compression function.
• The FRF. 9 compression involves a synchronization process. The compression is usually
unsuccessful if packets are not in order during the compression.

Before configuring FR compression, complete the following tasks:
