About the DECT Handset 4060

Security functions

The security functions are protected by a four-digit Personal Identification

Number (PIN). The PIN is only necessary when the Read-only feature is

active. The Security option enables you to change the PIN, set the

handset to Read-only, and Reset the handset.

Change the PIN

The default setting for the PIN is 0000. The PIN acts as the user’s

signature to protect personal settings.

To change the PIN:

1. Press the Menu soft key.

2. Press the arrow keys to scroll and

highlight the Security option.

OK 3. Press the OK soft key.
