Traffic Ports
When deploying a Mobility Domain, you might attach the WSS switches to subnets that have firewalls or access
controls between them. Within a Mobility Domain, WSS switches exchange information and other types of traffic,
depending on your configuration of AAA and various management services.
Table 41 lists the traffic ports typically used by a Mobility Domain and its associated AAA and management functions.
The traffic typically sent between WSS switches within a Mobility Domain uses IP/UDP protocol 17 traffic on port 8817
for both source and destination. Roaming traffic uses IP protocol 4.
