Usage
The output displays roaming stations within the previous 1 second.
Examples
To display all stations roaming to the WSS, type the following command:
WSS# show roaming station

Shows all VLANs in the mobility domain, the WSSs servicing the VLANs, and their tunnel affinity values configured
on each switch for the VLANs.
Table 2: Output for show roaming station
Field Description
User Name Name of the user. This is the name used for authentication. The name resides in a
RADIUS server database or the local user database on a WSS.
Station Address IP address of the user device.
VLAN Name of the VLAN to which the RADIUS server or WSS local user database
assigned the user.
State State of the session:
• Setup—Station is attempting to roam to this WSS. This switch
has asked the WSS from which the station is roaming for the
station’s session information and is waiting for a reply.
• Up—WSS Software has established a tunnel between the
WSSs and the station has successfully roamed to this WSS over
the tunnel.
• Chck—This WSS is in the process of accepting a reassociation
request from the roaming peer WSS for a station currently
roaming to the peer switch.
• TChck—This WSS is in the process of accepting a
reassociation request from the roaming peer WSS for a station
currently roaming to this switch.
• WInd—This WSS is waiting for network congestion to clear
before sending the roaming indication to the roaming peer
WSS.
• WResp—This WSS is waiting for network congestion to clear
before sending the roaming response to the roaming peer WSS.
