Syntax
set spantree portvlancost port-list cost cost {all | vlan vlan-id}
Defaults
The default port cost depends on the port speed and link type. (See Table 58 on page 396.)
Access
Enabled.
Examples
The following command changes the cost on ports 3 and 4 to 20 in VLAN mauve:
WSS# set spantree portvlancost 3,4 cost 20 vlan mauve
success: change accepted.

Changes the priority of a network port or ports for selection as part of the path to the STP root bridge, on one VLAN or
all VLANs.
Syntax
set spantree portvlanpri port-list priority value {all | vlan vlan-id}
Defaults
The default STP priority for all network ports is 128.
Access
Enabled.
port-list List of ports. WSS Software applies the cost change to all the specified
ports.
cost
cost
Numeric value. You can specify a value from 1 through 65,535. STP
selects lower-cost paths over higher-cost paths.
all Changes the cost on all VLANs.
vlan
vlan-id
VLAN name or number. WSS Software changes the cost on only the
specified VLAN.
port-list List of ports. WSS Software changes the priority on the specified ports.
priority
value
Priority value. You can specify a value from 0 (highest priority) through
255 (lowest priority).
all Changes the priority on all VLANs.
vlan

VLAN name or number. WSS Software changes the priority on only the
specified VLAN.
