set ap sticky-bit
This command is deprecated in WSS Software Version 4.0. WSS assignment is always sticky. If an AP fails
over to another
WSS connection, the AP stays on that connection until the connection goes down or the WSS
or AP is restarted.
set ap upgrade-firmware
Disables or reenables automatic upgrade of an AP’s boot firmware.
Syntax
set {ap port-list | auto}} upgrade-firmware {enable | disable}
Defaults
Automatic firmware upgrades of AP are enabled by default.
Access
Enabled.
History
Usage
When the feature is enabled on a WSS port, an AP connected to that port upgrades its boot
firmware to the latest version stored on the WSS while booting.
Examples
The following command disables automatic firmware upgrades on the AP connected to
port 9:
WSS# set ap 9 upgrade-firmware disable

set band-preference

ap port-list List of ports connected to the AP(s) on which to allow automatic firmware
