set ap boot-configuration mesh mode
Enables WLAN mesh services on the AP.
Syntax set ap ap-number boot-configuration mesh mode {enable | disable}
Defaults Disabled.
Access Enabled.
History Introduced in WSS Version 6.0.
Usage Use this command to enable WLAN mesh services for an Mesh AP. Prior to deploying the Mesh AP
in its final untethered location, you must connect the AP to an WSS switch and enter this command to
configure the AP for mesh services.
Examples The following command enables WLAN mesh services for AP 7:
WSS# set ap 7 boot-configuration mesh mode enable
success: change accepted.

Specifies a preshared key (PSK) phrase that a Mesh AP uses for authentication to its Mesh Portal AP.
Syntax set ap ap-number boot-configuration mesh psk-phrase passphrase
Defaults None.
Access Enabled.
History Introduced in WSS Version 6.0.
ap ap-number Index value that identifies the AP on the WSS.
mode {enable | disable} Enables or disables WLAN mesh services for the AP.
ap ap-number Index value that identifies the AP on the WSS.
passphrase An ASCII string from 8 to 63 characters long. The string can
contain blanks if you use quotation marks at the beginning
and end of the string.
