reset ap
Restarts an AP.
Syntax
reset {ap port-list | ap ap-num}
Defaults
None.
Access
Enabled.
Usage
When you enter this command, the AP drops all sessions and reboots.
Examples
The following command resets the AP on port 7:
WSS# reset ap 7
This will reset specified AP devices. Would you like to continue? (y/n)y
success: rebooting ap attached to port 7
set ap auto
Creates a profile for automatic configuration of APs.

set ap auto
Defaults
None.

ap port-list List of ports connected to the AP to restart.
ap ap-num Number of a AP to reset.
Caution! Restarting an AP can cause data loss for users who are currently associated
with the AP.
