An additional ferrite filter attached to the SDI cable
3 Connect the system terminal to the cable marked “port 0” on the
NTBK48 3-port cable.
You require a Modem Eliminator Adapter to connect the Option 11C
Mini to a TTY terminal. This adapter is in included in the NTDK88 cable
kit.
4 If the system is to be accessed remotely, connect the system
modem to the cable marked “port 1” on the NTBK48 cable.
5 Connect the modem to an outside line.
6 Test the modem for correct operation when the system is
operating.
Note:
You can use the remaining ports for other equipment, such as
CDR devices or TTYs.
