The single campus deployment example consists of the following:
•Call Server
• Signaling Server (optionally redundant)
• up to four Media Gateways and four Media Gateway Expanders:
— can be configured to provide network redundancy
— provide a global suite of telephony trunks
• analog telephones (service for 2500 series telephones and fax)
• digital telephones (service for Meridian 3900 telephones)
• a switched Ethernet infrastructure
• up to 1000 IP Phones
• centralized management capability
• other telephony applications
