Follow Procedure 71 to check the status of the ELAN network interfaces.
Note: IP addresses used are for example only.

Checking the status of the ELAN network interfaces
1 Observe the ELAN Ethernet LEDs (Layer 2 network link) on all Media
Gateway SSC cards. See Figure 94 on page 284.
a. If the ELAN LED is green, the Link is established.
b. If the Link LED is not lit, check all cable connections to ensure that
they are connected correctly, and not damaged.
The ELAN red and yellow LEDs flash when there is network activity.
Note: Cards in slot 1 can make viewing difficult.
