TURNING THE UNIT ON AND OFF Make sure that the main power switch next to the control panel is in the On position, then press and hold the Up-On/Off button ( ) for 3 seconds to turn on or off. SETTING THE TEMPERATURE To adjust the set temperature, follow the instructions below: 1. Press SET ( ) button for 1 second. The set temperature will start flashing after a few moments. 2. Use the UP ( ) or DOWN ( ) buttons increase or decrease the desired temperature setting.
care and Maintenance CLEANING THE CONDENSER COIL For efficient operation, it is important that the condenser surface be kept free of dust, dirt, and lint. It is recommended to clean the condenser coil and the fins at least once per month. Figure 4 Remove the screws holding the vent cover at the bottom of the unit in the front (see Figure 4) to access the condenser. Use a commercial condenser coil cleaner, available from any kitchen equipment retailer.
Troubleshooting Before requesting any service on your unit, please check the following points. Symptom Possible Cause Compressor not running. Fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped. Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker. Power cord unplugged. Plug in power cord. Thermostat set too high. Set thermostat to lower temperature. Cabinet in defrost cycle. Wait for defrost cycle to finish. Excessive amount of warm product placed in unit. Allow adequate time for product to cool down.
