Table 4-6 Beacon Configuration Window
Command Description
Enable
If checked, monitoring of the associated condition is enabled. When enabled, the text
on that line of the window turns dark.
Beacon: If checked, the selected beacon activates when the associated condition is
detected.
Audible Alarm: If checked, the audible alarm activates when the associated condition
is detected.
NOTE The audible alarm may not be available for all machine states (e.g.,
Program Running, Exit FmXP, etc.).
Condition Indicates the machine or software condition.
Beacon State Displays the selected beacon state.
Output
Bit/Level
Displays the output bit number and signal level corresponding to the beacon lamp
ON state.
Configure
Button
Press this button to display the Dispenser I/O window where you can select the
desired beacon state.
Error
Conditions
The beacon can be configured to indicate the following FmXP/machine conditions:
General Error
The beacon/alarm comes ON when any general error
occurs. The beacon/alarm is OFF when the error is
cleared.
Vision Error
The beacon/alarm comes ON when a Vision System error
occurs. The beacon/alarm is OFF when the error is
cleared.
Heater Error
The beacon/alarm comes ON when a heater error occurs.
The beacon/alarm is OFF when the error is cleared.
Program
States 1
Program Running from
Production
The machine is running a dispense program or is running in
the Production mode (while the system waits for another
board to be loaded on a conveyorized machine).
Program Running from
Teach
The beacon comes ON when a dispense program is
running from the Programming Window. The beacon is
OFF when the program is not running or is paused.
Program Running from
SECS/GEM
The beacon comes ON when a dispense program is
running from a Host computer through a SECS/GEM
Interface. The beacon is OFF when the program is not
running or is paused.
Program Running Dry
Mode
The beacon comes ON when a dispense program is
running in dry mode. The beacon is OFF when the program
is not running in dry mode or is paused.
Program Not Dispensing
The beacon comes ON when the dispense program is not
dispensing. The beacon is OFF when the program is
dispensing.
Program Paused The dispense program is in a paused state.
