A.1.2 Edit Menu
1. Cut - Deletes the selected command(s) from the
program and copies it to the Windows clipboard.
2. Copy
- Copies the selected program command(s) to the
Windows clipboard.
3. Paste
- Pastes the contents of the clipboard at the cursor
position.
4. Go To
- Opens a dialog box in which you can type a
line number within the currently loaded program and go
directly to that line in the program.
5. Find
- Opens a dialog box that can be used to search for
specific characters within the currently loaded program.
6. Edit Main Program
- FmXP has a main program with
basic essential commands that you can edit if
necessary.
7. Edit Pre-Fiducial Block
- A block of instructions
processed before fiducials. Permission is required to
edit the block. Contact Nordson ASYMTEK for more
information.
8. Edit Procedure
- Allows you to edit a previously saved procedure.
9. Edit Pattern
- Allows you to edit a previously saved pattern. You will be asked to reteach the
pattern origin.
10. Delete Procedure/Pattern
- Allows you to delete entire procedures and/or patterns. Select the
desired procedure or pattern and click on
Delete.
11. Edit Fiducial Info
- Refers to the fiducial information for the pattern currently loaded. You will be
asked to reteach fiducial locations if you choose this option.
12. Edit Pattern Skip Info
- Opens a dialog box that allows you to customize your Skip Marks for
individual patterns.
13. Edit Substrate ID Info
- Allows you to edit the Substrate ID info.
14. Edit Pattern Locations
- Opens a dialog box in which you can edit a defined pattern location.
Select the desired location name and click on
Edit. You will be asked to reteach the pattern
location.
15. Edit SECS/GEM Fid Control
- Enabled only on systems with the GEM option installed and for
patterns that use fiducials. Opens a dialog box containing a check box to control fiducial finding.
If checked, the GEM host will have the ability to find or skip fiducials for this pattern by setting
specific equipment constants.
16. Realign Workpiece
- Refers to the board or part onto which you are dispensing. You will be asked
to reteach a defining axis and workpiece origin for the workpiece on Conveyor Lane 1.
17. Edit Dot Parameters
- Allows you to control the various facets of dot dispensing. You can tailor
Dispensing Head movement and valve performance to fit your specific needs.
