9.3.1.1.2 Main Tab
The Main tab (Figure 9-4) displays the loop name, mode, and temperature settings.
Command Description
Loop Name Name the heater loop so that its function can be easily identified.
Mode
Auto Mode regulates the loop temperature automatically.
Manual Mode disables the automatic temperature controller and
allows you to regulate loop temperature using the Output Value.
The Output Value is the percentage of the total capacity of the
heater being used to achieve or maintain the Set Point.
Settings
The Set Point (SP) value is the desired heater temperature for
your application. To adjust the temperature, enter a value in the
Set Point (SP) textbox and select the desired unit (F) Fahrenheit
or (C) Celsius.

NOTE Operating in Manual Mode is not recommended. Output Value cannot exceed Heat
Output Limit. See the Output tab.
