8.5.1.5 Scanner Tab
This tab only appears in the Run Window if you have an active scanner installed on your dispensing
system. Options are described in Table 8-4.

Item Description
Bar Code
Information
Barcode Identifies the complete barcode.
Filtered Barcode Identifies the filtered barcode as defined in Setup Scanner.
Program
Identifies the program associated with the filtered barcode as
defined in Barcode Association.
If An Error
Occurs
These options determine the course of events if FmXP encounters an error after
scanning a barcode. Generally, an error will occur if a filtered barcode has not
been associated with a specific dispensing program.
Wait for program
name
Selecting this option will pause dispensing and prompt the
Operator to select a dispensing program to associate with the
currently scanned filtered barcode.
Use existing
program
Selecting this option means that FmXP will use the most
recently executed dispensing program in place of the missing
associated program.
Skip this board
Selecting this option means that the board will be skipped and
conveyed out of the dispensing area. Another board will
automatically be conveyed into the dispensing area so that
dispensing may continue uninterrupted.
Abort
Selecting this option means that the currently running program
will be aborted.
8.5.1.6 VVS Flowrate Tab
This tab is visible on the Run Window only when variable valve speed is enabled for DP and DV-Series
valves. See 7.9 Variable Valve Speed.

Item Description
Valve 1/Valve 2
Shows current Variable Valve Speed Flowrate
information for the valve(s) installed on your
dispensing system.
Speed
The valve speed percentages set up in the Variable
Valve Speed Flowrate dialog box.
Current Flowrate
The current flowrate measurement for the
corresponding valve speed.
Next Calibration
This is the time/runs remaining until the next flowrate
calibration for the corresponding valve speed.
