7.9.4 Editing Valve Speed Parameters
To edit the valve speed parameters:
1. Click on
Measure Flow Rate on the Process toolbar in the Programming Window.
The Variable Valve Speed Flowrate screen opens.
2. Select a Valve Speed and click on Edit.
The Edit Flowrate Setup for Valve Speed dialog box opens. See Figure 7-38.
3. Click on
Remove to remove a Valve speed from the Valve Speed (%) list.
4. Click on
Verify Speeds at Runtime to activate the verification feature (used primarily with
Weight Control lines).
With this feature active, FmXP checks to make sure that all valve speeds used in the Set
Valve Speed instructions have been calibrated (have a measured flow rate) before
dispensing begins.
If any of the valve speeds have not been calibrated, you will be prompted to run a flow
rate calibration before dispensing.
5. If the
Verify Speeds at Runtime feature is not active, FmXP will issue an error if it
encounters an uncalibrated valve speed.
