5. The downloaded strip map file will be in .txt format.
The strip map file name, presented in .txt format, corresponds to the 2DID Barcode.
- 123AB456TS001.txt correlates to the Barcode ID 123AB456TS001.
- A typical stripmap.txt might contain the date, time, (X,Y) locations for each die on
the strip array, and an indicator for dispense/no-dispense.
A “BIN” value of
0 = dispense location
2 = no-dispense location
6. For each unit of the strip, the map file will indicate which units are available for dispense
and which units should be skipped.
In this example, the unit in X,Y location 0,4 has a “2” BIN designation indicating that it
will not be dispensed.
7. The strip map data for an entire lot can be downloaded using SECS/GEM or copied to the
Dispenser “C:\FmXP\MapSrc” folder before the lot is dispensed.
8. If a strip map list (listing of multiple strip map .txt files) is downloaded by a station
controller, the list will be separated and reformatted into individual strip map .txt files and
then stored in the C:\FmXP\MapSRC folder.
9. Any error condition that occurs while processing will be logged, i.e., no strip map data file
exists for the current strip ID, strip skipped, bad data format for skip map data, etc.
