7.6.1.5 Deleting a Library Pattern
Use this selection to delete a pattern from the library.
To delete a library pattern:
1. In the Programming Window, select
Program > Library > Delete Library Pattern or click
the
Pattern button on the Program Commands toolbar and select Delete Library Pattern.
2. Select the name of the library pattern you wish to delete from the list in the dialog box.
3. Click
OK.
FmXP will delete the pattern from the Pattern Library.
7.6.2 Library Patterns in Recipes
When a program that calls a library pattern is saved to a recipe, the library pattern will not be included in
the recipe file. This prevents overwriting the library file with old patterns when the recipe is opened.
To complete the entire recipe package, the pattern library must also be included when transferring the
recipe to another machine that does not have access to the original pattern library.
7.6.3 Library Pattern Event Tracking
Pattern library events can be tracked by date and time and entered into the system trace file. These events
include information such as when a library pattern is opened, saved, deleted and if the configuration has
been changed. See Figure 7-18. For more information, See 4.3.7.2 Setup Trc/Dbg Logging.
