6.8.2 Editing a Program
After your dispensing program has been created you may edit it at any time. You may add, delete or edit
lines as necessary. In addition, you may edit dot and line location and dot and line parameters.
6.8.2.1 Opening a Program and Pattern
To open a program and pattern:
1. Load the workpiece.
2. Select
Teach a Program from the Main Menu.
The Workpiece pattern of the last saved program opens.
To select a different program, choose
File > Open from the menu bar and select the
desired program from the list.
3. Make sure that the name of the pattern containing the fiducials you wish to edit appears in
the
Pattern Name text box.
If it doesn’t, click on the arrow next to the Pattern Name text box and select the pattern
from the drop-down menu.
Refer to Section 7 - Advanced Programming for information on patterns.
6.8.2.2 Adding Program Commands
To add program commands:
1. Perform the steps outlined in 6.8.2.1 Opening a Program and Pattern.
2. Move the cursor to the line where you would like your new command to appear.
The new command will be inserted above the cursor position.
3. Select the desired command on the
Program Commands toolbar.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
The new line will be inserted into your program and the lines will be renumbered.
6.8.2.3 Deleting Program Commands
To delete program commands:
1. Perform the steps outlined in 6.8.2.1 Opening a Program and Pattern.
2. Move the cursor to the line directly below the line you wish to delete.
3. Hold down the left mouse button and move upward to select the line you wish to delete.
4. When the line is highlighted, release the mouse button.
5. Press
Delete on the keyboard to delete the line.
The selected line will be deleted and the remaining program lines will be renumbered.
