1.6.14 Simplified Setup/Configuration Routines
You can access various configuration and setup routines from the FmXP Main Window. A Master Offsets
routine prompts you through initial system and software calibration for the height sensor, camera offset,
purge station, and scale station locations, which makes initial setup fast and easy. In addition, the
Production Window has a setup menu designed for use by production operators. Manual setup options are
also available for specific setup tasks, giving the operator quick control over all production functions.
1.6.15 Local Machine Offsets
For factories that run the same FmXP dispensing program on multiple machines, the goal is to have one
program. Because no two machines perform exactly alike, in order for a program written on one machine
to perform the same on another machine, some correction or calibration is required. Local Machine
Offsets (LMO) is a group of three features that help obtain the goal of one program. See 4.3.10.3 Local
Machine Offsets.
1.6.16 Saved Valve Configurations
FmXP allows the user to save valve configurations. With this feature, customized valve settings can be
saved and easily restored. See 4.4.2 Valve Setup.
1.6.17 User Levels
You can select and configure user levels to suite your production needs. FmXP includes three different
default levels of operation. See 4.3.4 Operation Level.
Service - Allows access to all windows and features.
System - Allows full access to all windows and menus, but restricts access to certain
features.
Production - Limits access to the Production Window, Run Window, and production level
setup procedures only.
1.6.18 Online Help
Like all true Windows software packages, FmXP has a standard Online Help system accessible from all
menus and dialog boxes. Context-sensitive Help directs you to the help topic associated with the current
dialog box. FmXP Online Help includes General Help for FmXP, Online Tutorials, and a list of all
Automove Control Language (ACL) commands. See 3.4.9 Online Help.
