4.6.1 Production Setup for Century and M-600 Series Systems
Century and M-600 Series Dispensing Systems support a Non-scripted Prompted Setup routine as well as
Scripted Prompted Setup to prepare for a production run.
NOTE If you have a Dual-Action or a Dual-Bracket Dispensing Head, it is recommended that
you use Scripted Prompted Setup. You must run the setup routine for both valves.
To perform Century/M-600 Series production setup:
1. In the Main Window, select
Configuration > Setup Scripts Options.
The Setup Scripts Options window opens.
2. Select one of the following radio buttons:
Non-Scripted Setup Dialogs (see Figure 4-105) if you wish to use FmXP’s original
setup routine.
Use Setup Scripts (see Figure 4-106) if you wish to select a customized setup script for
production setup. Then perform the following for each valve on your system:
- Click on the
Valve 1 or Valve 2 radio button to designate which valve the chosen
script will be used.
- Click on the
Prompted Setup button and select the setup script from the directory.
3. Click on
OK.
4. In the Main Window, select Run a Program > Setup.
The Prompted Setup (Figure 4-105) or Scripted Prompted Setup (Figure 4-106) version
of the Production Window opens.
5. In the Production Window, click on the
Prompted Setup button or Setup Scripts button,
as applicable.
For Prompted Setup (Figure 4-105), the first of a series of Teach Windows opens.
For Scripted Prompted Setup (Figure 4-106), click on
Run to End in the window that
opens. If you want to change the script file, click on
Select File, select the new file
from the directory, and click on
OK.
6. Follow the on-screen prompts.
Steps must be performed in the order listed. Completed steps are checked off.
