System Configuration and Setup 4-121
To perform a Camera-Assisted Scripted Valve Offsets Procedure:
1. Clear the work area of any obstacles that might interfere with dispensing head movement.
2. In the Main Window, click on
Configuration > Machine Offsets > Machine Offsets
Parameters
and verify the following in the Machine Offsets Parameters window and click
on
OK:
Scripted Valve Offsets and Camera Assisted Script are selected.
Setup Fiducials is performed if you wish to use fiducials to locate dispensing
area devices. Refer to 4.5.3.2 Setup for details.
All other options are correct. Refer to 4.3.9 Setup Scripts Options for details.
If a message appears asking you to restart FmXP, click on
OK.
3. In the Main Window, select
Configuration > Machine Offsets > Scripted Valve Offsets.
The Machine Setup window (Figure 4-101) opens.
4. In the Machine Setup window, verify the
Valve 1 radio button is selected and click on
Run to End.
If a message warns you that the dispensing head will move to the Home position, click
on
Yes.
The first of a series of Teach Windows opens.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts. Click on
Help if you have questions.
The Teach Window content and appearance may vary depending on your system
configuration and options selected.
When a setup task has been completed, a check mark appears next to the task.
Any tasks not applicable to your system configuration will be skipped.
6. If your dispensing system has a Dual-Action Dispensing Head, repeat Steps 4 and 5 except
click on the
Valve 2 radio button.
You will start the routine with Task #2 since you have already established a safe
Z height.
7. When setup tasks are complete, click
Exit in the Machine Setup window.
8. When the message appears notifying you that the offsets routine is complete, click on
OK.
NOTE If you end the routine prematurely, you will receive an error message similar to the one in
Figure 4-99. Click on
OK to exit the routine and save the tasks completed or click on
Cancel to continue.
