4.4.14 Editing Configuration Files
Selecting Configuration Files from the Configuration Menu opens the window shown in Figure 4-98,
where you can edit the FmConfig.ini, FmDispIO.ini, FmConvIO.ini and FmConvey.ini configuration
files.
CAUTION! It should not be necessary to edit the configuration files because the configuration
files are modified as necessary during the setup and configuration process.
However, if it is necessary, configuration files should only be modified by trained
personnel. An error in one of these files can cause your system to run erratically or
not at all. DO NOT delete configuration files. Contact your Systems Engineer or
Nordson ASYMTEK Technical Support for assistance.
To edit configuration files:
1. Select the applicable Configuration File tab.
2. Select a Configuration Group (left column).
3. Select an item in the Configuration group (right column).
4. Enter the desired value in the textbox below.
5. Click
OK.
