4.4.11 Heater Setup
Setup Heaters allows you to define the type of heaters installed on your system and set heater runtime
preferences. Heater setup is generally performed prior to a production run.
To set up the Heaters:
1. In the Main Window, select
Configuration > Setup Heaters.
 The Heater window (Figure 4-92) opens.
2. Select
Heater 1 (left heater station) and select the type of heater installed on your system:
 If there is no heater in this heater station, select (
none).
 Select
Anafaze for Millennium and Century Series Dispensing Systems.
 Select
MPC555 for X-1000 and Spectrum Series Dispensing Systems.
3. Select the desired options. See Table 4-16 for descriptions.
 NOTE Default settings are established at the Nordson ASYMTEK factory prior to
shipping.
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for
Heater 2 (right heater station).
5. Click on
OK.
6. Exit and then restart FmXP.
 NOTE After performing Heater Setup you must still set up heater parameters and turn on the
heater loops in the Heater Control Window (
Tools > Terminal > ). Refer to 9.3.1.1
Heater Control Window for instructions.
