4-94 System Configuration and Setup
To calibrate the automatic conveyor width (AWC):
 NOTE Conveyor width can be calibrated from the Configuration > Setup Conveyors menu as
described below or by clicking on
Calibrate in the Programming Automatic Conveyor
Window (Figure 4-81).
1. In the FmXP Main Menu, click on
Configuration > Setup Conveyors.
2. Click on
Setup in the Automatic Conveyor Width section.
 The Automatic Conveyor Width window opens (Figure 4-79).
3. Click on
Calibrate Conveyor Width.
 The Prompted Setup Window opens (Figure 4-80).

4. Select Run to End to run the calibration prompted script.
5. Input the desired conveyor width in inches. This will be the part or carrier width.
6. Follow the prompt to jog the conveyor rail to the part/carrier width.
7. Click on
OK.
 The conveyor will move to the home position and then travel back to the taught width
for verification.
 Automatic Conveyor Width Calibration is complete.
8. Click on
Exit when finished.
