4.4.7.3 Setup Light
Command Description
Calibrate
Calibrate is an advanced feature that calibrates or synchronizes the
lighting levels on multiple dispensers. This is useful if a recipe taught on
one dispenser, containing light levels for that dispenser, is also used on a
different dispenser that exhibits a different light intensity (i.e., models
cannot be found on the second dispenser because the light is too bright or
too dark). This feature requires a calibration board that is used to calibrate
all dispensers.
Use Calibration Table
If this feature is activated and the light levels for this dispenser have been
calibrated, the dispenser will use the calibrated values contained in a
program if they exist. It will also insert the calibrated values when a new
program is created on this dispenser. If not activated, the normal,
uncalibrated light levels will be used.
Light Controller Selection FmXP automatically detects the type of Light Source.
Turn off light on exit
If this is activated, the camera lights will turn off when FmXP exits,
otherwise the lights will remain on when FmXP exits.

4.4.7.4 Suckback/Purge Parameters
This feature can be used to schedule purge or suckback occurrences during long fiducial searches.
Program runs that have many fiducials and therefore take a significant amount of time may require these
routines to keep the fluid fresh and ready for dispensing. These events can be scheduled based on time or
number of fids searched.
To open the Suckback/Purge Control Parameters window:
1. In the Fluidmove Main Window, select
Configuration > Setup Vision.
The Setup Vision window opens (Figure 4-71).
2. Click on
Enable Suckback/Purge Control to activate this feature. A check mark appears
in the box to indicate that the feature is active.
When this feature is active, you may choose to use Purge Parameters OR Suckback
Parameters during fiducial searches, but not both at the same time.
