3. Select the desired options. Refer to Table 4-13 for descriptions.
4. Click on the
Calibrate button to calibrate the Vision System.
This camera calibration routine should be performed whenever:
- The camera is replaced
- Camera focus is adjusted
- Camera magnification is changed
A Teach Window prompts you to perform a step-by-step calibration procedure.
5. Click on
Version Info to for Vision System hardware and software information.
6. Click on
Setup Reticles to set up the parameters for reticles on video display screens.
A Teach Window prompts you through the process.
Reticles are on-screen graphics such as calipers and circles used to calculate size,
measure distance, and center objects within the video display screen. Reticles have no
effect on the dispensing system or the program as it runs.
7. Click on
Setup Light for Light Controller information, lighting selection, calibration, and
an option to turn off lighting upon exiting FmXP. See Figure 4-74.
FmXP automatically detects the type of Light Source. If not, contact Nordson
ASYMTEK Technical Support.
8. The Graphics Level
allows you to regulate the amount of graphic details (i.e., calipers,
search window, found edge points) shown in the video display window during runtime
when using the Corner Finder feature.
When using Model Finder,
High displays a search window during runtime and the other
settings do not.
9. When finished, click on
OK.
