4-62 System Configuration and Setup
Item Description
Valve Cycle Frequency
The number of times each solenoid is energized per second. The
max cycle frequency is 300Hz; for applications that require a lower
cycle frequency the setting can be adjusted.
Valve On Time
The amount of time (in milliseconds) that the valve is ON when it
dispenses a dot. For more information, contact Nordson ASYMTEK
Technical Support.
Valve Off Time
The amount of time (in milliseconds) that the valve is OFF between
dispensing dots.
Purge Interval
This value is the amount of time (in milliseconds) between each firing
of the valve during a purge. The number of times the valve fires
during a purge depends upon the purge duration (set in Setup Purge
Station on the Configuration Menu) and the purge interval (set here).
Low Pin/High Pin
Velocity
Controls pin actuation velocity by adjusting the amount of opposing
pressure.
Change Default Fluid
Pressure Setting
This configures global fluid pressure behavior. With this checked,
fluid pressure will be turned on only if dispensing is needed and will
be off the rest of the time.
