Table 4-8 Setup Valves Options
Command Description
Active Configuration
Allows you to select the type of valve installed on your system. If not
automatically highlighted, use the mouse to select the proper valve
type. Available Nordson ASYMTEK Valves are:
DP-Series DV-Series DJ-Series SV-Series NexJet
DP-2000
DP-3000
DV-01
DV-02
DV-03
DV-05A
DV-07
DV-09
DV-6000
DV-7000
DJ-2100
DJ-2200 (FluxJet)
DJ-9000

Edit
Opens the Valve Settings window where you can configure specific
settings for valve operation, including valve speed and fluid pressure.
See Online Help for details.
Delete
Removes highlighted valve type from the Active Configuration list.
Only saved valve configurations (see “Save As” below) may be deleted
from the Active Configuration list. Factory default configurations may
not be deleted.
Deleting valve configurations should only be done by trained service
technicians in the case where a specific valve type will never be used
on your dispensing system.
Save As
Opens the Save Valve Configuration window in which you can save the
current valve configuration with a user-defined name for easy
identification. The saved valve configuration name is added to the
Active Configuration list. See Online Help for details.
Low Fluid Sensor
Installed
If checked, the Low Fluid Sensor feature is enabled if a low fluid sensor
is installed or if the software-driven Low Fluid Sensor feature is enabled
in the Fluid Manager window. See 5.4.1 Fluid Setup for details.
Enable Local Fluid
Reservoir
If checked, the Local Fluid Reservoir feature is enabled (Onboard Bulk
Fluid Supply) for use with FluxJet valves on X-1000 Series and M-2000
Series dispensing systems. Enables OBFS options in the Valve
Settings window.
Configure Valves
Enable Dual Valves
: If checked, the Dual Valve feature is enabled if
your system is equipped with a Dual-Action Dispensing Head.
Enable Toggle – Enables the valve toggle feature, which allows you to
switch from one valve to another.
Toggle Delay (ms): Enter the amount of time to wait before switching
from one valve to the other.
