4.4.2 Valve Setup
Setup Valves lets you identify and configure the Dispensing Valve(s) installed on your dispensing system.
Valve setup can be saved and recalled if needed.
To set up Dispensing Valves:
1. In the Main Window, select
Configuration > Setup Valves.
 The Setup Valves window (Figure 4-53) opens.
2. Select the desired options. See Table 4-8 for descriptions.
 NOTE If your system is equipped with Dual Valves, you must click the Enable Dual
Valves
checkbox and repeat Step 2 for the second valve.
3. Click on
OK.
 If a different active valve configuration is selected, a message box opens indicating that
you must restart FmXP for the new changes to take effect. You are also asked if you
want to restart FmXP now.
 NOTE You do not have to restart FmXP until you have finished configuring the
dispensing system. Click on
No every time you see this message until system
configuration is complete. However, access to some of the features in the
software will be unavailable until FmXP is restarted.
