4.3.10.10 Flowmeter Configuration
The flowmeter allows the user to monitor the amount of fluid flow from the valve during a programmed
dispense interval within a dispense program. This feature requires a flowmeter be installed between the
fluid source and the valve. Begin and End program commands are used in the program’s pattern to
establish the dispense interval. See “Process Commands” in Appendix A.
To enable the flowmeter:
1. Select
Configuration > Setup Runtime Preferences > Flowmeter Configuration from
the Fluidmove Main Menu.
The Flowmeter window opens (Figure 4-47).
2. Select the
Enable box. A checkmark in the box indicates this feature is enabled.
3. Verify that the ml Per Count setting is correct.
The ml Per Count setting is determined by the flowmeter used. The currently authorized
flowmeter uses the default setting of “1".
4. If desired, select
Allow Operator Override.
If Allow Operator Override is selected and the dispensed fluid volume does not fall
within the tolerance settings, the operator has several options:
- Continue (and ignore the error)
- Continue (and ignore all errors for the remainder of the board)
- Abort production immediately.
5. Click
OK.
