Purge Station Setup
In addition to defining the location of the Purge Station, you must also perform a Purge Station setup to
establish purge duration and frequency.
To set up the Purge Station:
1. Select
Configuration from the Main Menu.
2. Choose
Setup Purge Station.
!The Purge Station dialog box shown in Figure 4-18 opens.

3. Activate Timed Purge.
!A check mark in the box indicates Timed Purge is activated.
!If Timed Purge is not activated, purge duration defaults to ten minutes.
4. Enter the desired purge duration.
!If Timed Purge is activated, purges will be performed according to the parameters and
duration established here. Changing the options here also changes them in the Fluid
Manager and vice versa.
5. Click
Purge to immediately purge the valve so you can test the current settings.
6. If your system is equipped with a DP-Series refillable valve, the
Refill and Prime buttons will
be active.
!Click
Refill to refill the dispensing chamber and put valve in dispense-ready state.
!Click
Prime to prime the valve to rid the dispensing chamber of any air pockets.
7. Click
OK when done.
