Trc/Dbg Logging Options
The Trc/Dbg Logging Options is a feature used mainly by service technicians for troubleshooting
purposes. The Trc and Dbg tabs in this window (Figure 4-5) contain IDs that correspond to bits in
FmNT. The description of each bit is also shown in this window. You can select a feature you would
like to log by double-clicking on it. A check mark appears in the box next to the ID to signify that data
for that feature will be logged to a file.
The files can be viewed by any Windows-based text editor. It is recommended that you periodically
delete old files to avoid running out of disk space.
Command Description
Enable Enables the highlighted ID for logging.
Disable
Disables the highlighted ID and prevents data for the
disabled ID from being logged.
Select All Selects all of the listed IDs for logging.
Always Enable All
Activating this feature enables all IDs for logging.
Individual IDs cannot be enabled or disabled
independently.
