Position-Based Spacing Control Mode
In the Position-Based Spacing Control Mode, the valve fires at predetermined XY positions along the line.
Spacing – The value designates the distance between the center of one dot and the center of
the next dot.
Break Start Point -When used in Position Based Spacing Control Mode, the Break Start Point
determines the distance from the beginning of the dispensed line to the point along the line
where no dispensing will begin. Dispensing begins again at the End Break Point. See Figure
7-24.

Break End Point - When used in Position Based Spacing Control Mode, the Break End Point
determines the distance from the beginning of the dispensed line to the point along the line
where dispensing will begin again after being discontinued by Break Start Point.
See Figure 7-25.

Time-Based Control Mode
The valve actuates based on the cycle time set in the line parameter and the length of time required to
complete the motion at constant velocity.
Shot Time Interval - Determines the amount of time between dots dispensed. Shot Time
Interval is equal to the Cycle Time (Valve ON Time + Valve OFF Time). See Figure 7-26.
