15. Click on Done.
!The Teach Window closes and you return to the Setup dialog box. Notice that the box
next to number 2 now has a check mark (9) in it to indicate that Step 2 is complete.
16. Click on
Run next to “3. Teach Scale Location.”
!The Dispensing Head moves to the Scale Station and a Teach Window opens.
17. Use the Position Controls to align the needle tip to the opening in the Scale Station lid.
18. Activate the Z-axis controls and lower the needle tip into the opening.
19. Click on
Teach.
20. Click on
Done.
!The Teach Window closes and you return to the Setup dialog box. Notice that the box

21. Click on
Run next to “4. Calculate the Needle-to-Height Sensor Z offset.”
!The Dispensing Head moves to a safe Z height and a Teach Window opens.
22. Use the Position Controls to move the Dispensing Head to a flat surface.
!The Needle Sensor is a good surface on which to perform this step.
23. Activate the Z-axis controls and lower the Dispensing Head until the LED on top of the Laser
Height Sensor turns green.
24. Verify that the needle is not touching the surface.
!If the needle is touching the surface, the valve height needs to be adjusted. Refer to the
valve manual specific to your valve for instructions on adjusting valve height.
25. Click on
Next.
26. Use the Position Controls to align the Laser Height Sensor beam with the center of the Tactile
Sensor on the Needle Sensor.
!The LED on top of the Height Sensor should still be green. If it is not, activate the Z-axis
controls and adjust the height until the LED turns green.
27. Click on
Teach.
28. Use the Position Controls to align the needle with the center of the Tactile Sensor on top of
the Needle Sensor.
29. Click on
Teach.
!The Dispensing Head performs a height sense on the Tactile Sensor.
