Heater Setup
Heater Setup lets you define the type of Heaters installed on your system and set Heater runtime
preferences. Heater Setup is generally performed prior to a production run.
CAUTION! The Heater Setup described in this section is not the same as setting up and
regulating heater controls. Refer to the Tools section for instructions.
To set up the Heaters:
1. In the Main Window, click on
Configuration.
2. Click on
Setup Heaters.
!The Heater dialog box opens. See Figure 4-25.
!Consult Online Help for a complete explanation of all options available in the Heater
dialog box.
" NOTE Generally, the Millennium and Century Series Dispensing Systems use the
Anafaze heater controller. All X-1000 Series Dispensing Systems use the
MPC555 heater controller. If your dispensing system is not equipped with
heaters, select (
none).
3. Click on the arrow next to
Heater 1 or Heater 2 to select the type of heater installed on your
system. Select
(none) if there is no heater installed.
!Heater 1 refers to the left-most heater station. Heater 2 refers to the right-most heater
station. Each heater station needs to be active in order for you to configure it, and each
heater station needs to be configured individually.
4. Click
OK.
!The Heater dialog box will close.

Heater setup and reinitialization should be performed by trained service
personnel only.
