Camera-Assisted Scripted Valve Offsets
Camera-Assisted Scripted Valve Offsets is essentially the same as a regular Scripted Valve Offsets.
However, SVO requires you to visually confirm needle placement. CASVO allows you to use the camera
to visually confirm needle placement. Any existing SVO may be performed as a CASVO.
Definitely perform a Camera-Assisted Scripted Valve Offsets if any of the following events occur:
• initial system setup (re-installation of dispensing system)
• re-initialization or re-installation of system software
• software update
• valve change (not syringe)
• camera change or location adjustment
• service station (Purge, Weigh Stations) change or location adjustment
• Needle Sensor change or location adjustment
• Height Sensor change or location adjustment
• Changing from one of the other offsets routine
?NOTE The Camera-Assisted Valve Offsets procedure may also be performed as a
Fiducial Assisted Setup procedure. Click on
Help in the Machine Offsets
Parameters dialog box for more information.
?NOTE The ability to use the Fiducial Assisted Setup procedure requires the use of a
special Purge Station lid, Weigh Station lid, and Needle Sensor Sample Substrate
which have special marks used as the fiducials. Contact Asymtek for more
information.
