2-2 Installation
Setting up the Dispensing System for FmNT Installation
Before you begin the installation procedure, make certain that your dispensing system is
operational by following the checks below.
?NOTE Reference the dispensing system Operations Manual for the location of indicated
components or options.
1. Make certain that the dispensing system is ON by looking for the following indications.
> If a beacon is present, it should be ON and yellow or green. If the beacon is red,
close the dispensing system doors, hood or window, or press
Reset on the
Dispenser and Conveyor Control panels, if one is present.
> If a beacon is present, but not ON, or if there is no change after you turn the Main
Power switch or press the optional
Start button, make certain that the Main Circuit
Breaker is ON, and that the system is plugged into an electrical outlet. If the system
is not plugged in, consult a service technician to plug in the system.
> If no beacon is present, make sure that the Main Power switch is ON. If an Interlock
key is present, make sure that it is ON (O).
2. Close the dispensing system doors, hood or window, or clear the light curtain area.
3. Make sure that the Main Air is set to a minimum 70 psi.
> Refer to the system Operations Manual for the location of all components and
instructions for making air pressure adjustments.
