Configuring the Easy Coat Software
The first time the Easy Coat software is run you will be prompted to answer a series of questions defining
your system configuration. If the Easy Coat software has already been configured, you will need to
reconfigure it. Both methods are described below. For detailed information, refer to the Easy Coat User
Guide.

NOTE The fluid flow-rate high and low limits are defined during the default settings in the FMS
software.
Initial Configuration
1. Start the ECNT/ECXP software.
2. You will be prompted to answer a series a questions regarding your system configuration.
3. When the prompt Does this fluid system have a flow meter option? appears on the
screen, click on the Yes button.
Reconfiguration
1. Start the ECNT/ECXP software.
2. In the Operator Screen, click on Edit > Edit Mode.
! The ECNT>ECXP Edit Screen opens.
3. Select Configure > Reconfigure from the menu bar.
4. Select Fluid System.
5. Shutdown and restart the ECNT/ECXP software to perform the configuration.
6. When the prompt Does this fluid system have a flow meter option? appears on the
screen, click on the Yes button.
Functional Checkout
1. Perform a functional checkout of FMS as follows:
a. Perform the "
Flow Meter Test Utility" procedure in Section 4 - Operation.
b. Conduct a test run of the FMS using sample work piece.
2. If test is successful, complete installation documentation for future reference and planning.
3. If test is unsuccessful, refer to Section
6 - Troubleshooting.
