Setting the Fiber Optic Fan Sensor Sensitivity

The following steps describe how to calibrate the sensitivity of the Fiber Optic Sensor Amplifier in the

Windows environment.

?NOTE The Fiber Optic Sensor Amplifier settings should be as follows:

Switches: D.ON

Received Light Intensity: No “P” after the number on the display.

1. Remove the clear front window from the Fan Width Enclosure by unscrewing the four

screws.

2. Press the

MODE button on the Sensor Amplifier for 3 seconds until one of the selections

under the Power Selection bar graph starts flashing. See Figure 3-2.

3. Press the Up-Down button on the Sensor Amplifier until the

TURBO light is on.

4. Press the

MODE button again and one of the selections under the Timer Selection bar graph

will flash. See Figure 3-2.

5. Press the Up-Down button until the

40ms light is on.

6. Press the

MODE button again to return to the operational display.

7. Move the dispenser so the spray pattern will be in between the sensors.

8. Press the Up-Down button once and the display will flash.
