4 Configuration and Characterization
4.1 Overview
Your dispensing system is configured at the Asymtek factory prior to shipping. However, if any
components have been changed or moved, it may be necessary to reconfigure them in ECNT. This section
contains the following procedures:
• Tool Configuration • Production Configuration
• Characterization • Log Configuration
• Fixture Configuration • Product Map Configuration
• Hardware Configuration • Custom Buttons
4.2 Safety First
Before configuring any of the dispensing system components, please review the information presented in
the Safety section of the manual for your particular dispensing system.
CAUTION! The procedures in this section should only be performed by a trained service
technician.
4.3 Record Keeping
At a minimum, the following information should be recorded in the dispensing system maintenance
records:
• Procedure Type
• Date
• Technician Name(s)
• Post-procedure Functional Test Results
