DP-3000 Reaches Travel Limit Recovery
If not programmed properly, a dispensing program can cause the DP-3000 to empty the entire pumping
chamber before dispensing is completed. When this happens, Fluidmove will issue a warning that the
DP-3000 has reached its travel limit.
To recover from a travel limit error:
1. In the Fluidmove Main Window, click on Run a Program.
2. Click on Setup, then select Valve - DP2000/3000 Refill.
3. Return to the Main Window.
To prevent this error from occurring during a production run, refill commands should be inserted into the
dispensing program at points when it is known that the pumping chamber is nearing empty. For example, in
order to dispense eight 200-ml pots using a DP-3124 (which has a 1-cc pumping chamber), you should place
a Refill Valve command between the first and second pot, then after the fifth pot to prevent the chamber
from becoming completely empty.
Refer to “Automatic Refill” in the Operation section for instructions on inserting a Refill command into your
dispensing program.
