C. Improper support of the 6-oz
cartridge or improper stopcock
installation.
C. Correct the condition by
performing one of the following
steps:
1. Replace the metal feed
elbow parts (P/Ns 03-
0551-00 and 03-094-00)
with Kit VK-DP31-6P parts
(includes standoff ring 03-
0797-00*.
2. Properly adjust the
existing standoff ring.
3. Follow proper installation
procedure. (Ensure the
quick release is closed,
then clamp the yellow
lever. If the stopcock is
clamped prior to
connecting it to pump
chamber or closing
actuator swing-door, it is
out of alignment).
12. Stopcock is cracked or
leaking. Evidence of
dispensing drooling or
tailing (air in chamber).

D. Temperature inside the
dispensing system or the
needle heater temperature
exceeds 60

D. Change pump type.
Caution:
DP-3000 is not recommended
for operations in a temperature
environment that consistently
exceeds 60

*Stand-off ring must be installed on the retainer just above the reservoir clip for proper support.

Fluid leaking from the prime
port or out of the top of the
pump chamber. (Especially
when using material
containing abrasive
particulate matters.)
A. Piston in the chamber is worn
beyond the acceptable wear
limit. See Table 5-4 for Wear
Limits.
A. Replace Piston.
