8. Refer to Figure 3-13 and perform the following steps to close the DP-3000:

a. Pull out on the blue detent lever to unlock the sliding bracket.

b. Gently push up on the sliding bracket, making sure that the bottom of the pumping

chamber fits into the top of the stopcock.

c. Rotate the green chamber retention lever down 90° to lock the sliding bracket in place.

d. Close the swinging bracket, making sure that the stopcock fits into the grooves on the

stopcock actuator.

! You will need to push up on the red swinging bracket latch and release it when the

swinging bracket closes to lock it in place.

9. Rotate the yellow stopcock lever back 180° to lock the stopcock in place. See Figure 3-14.
