Basic System Troubleshooting
System Power
Table 6-1 System Power Troubleshooting
Symptom Possible Cause Recovery Procedures
1. The Start button has not been
pressed.
Press Start (l) on the Control Panel.
2. Main Power Cable is
disconnected.
Check that the Main Power Cable is
connected to an AC source.
3. Main Power Circuit Breaker is
OFF.
Turn ON the Main Power Switch at
the rear of the system.
4. EMO button has been
activated.
Turn the EMO button
counterclockwise until it
pops out.
Press Start (l) on the Control
Panel.
5. Blown fuse in electrical system. Contact a service technician.
No Power To Major
System Components
6. Interlock circuit is interrupted.
Make sure the Interlock connector
(P/N 199280) is installed.

Symptom Possible Cause Recovery
1. System is not connected to
facility air supply.
Check the Main Air Inlet at the rear of
the system.
2. Main Air Regulator is OFF.
Verify Main Air Regulator is set
properly.
No Air Pressure
3. FmNT not started.
FmNT must be running to initialize the
machine pneumatics.
1. Air Pressure
Make sure the Fluid Pressure Regulator
is set to the proper air pressure.
No Fluid Pressure
2. FmNT not started. Start FmNT.
1. Main Air Switch OFF Make sure Main Air Switch is ON.
2. Air Pressure
Make sure Valve Pressure Regulator is
set to the proper air pressure.
3. Syringe disconnected
Connect the syringe receiver head to
the Valve Off (black hose) port on the
dispensing head.
No Valve Pressure
4. FmNT not started. Start FmNT.
Leaky Regulator Damaged Regulator
Contact Asymtek Technical Support.
The regulator will need to be replaced.
1. Air leak in the dispensing
system pneumatic line.
Check for source of leak and seal leak
or replace leaking component.
2. Leak in facility air supply hose. Repair or replace hose.
3. Facility air pressure is too high. Adjust facility air pressure.
Air Hissing at Rear of
System
4. Vacuum Control is turned on. Normal Operation.
