6.4.5 Cleaning the Nozzle
To clean the nozzle:
1. Open the Stroke Adjustment Assembly (counterclockwise) until the red part aligns with the
sleeve to release the spring load on the needle assembly.
2. Loosen the Collar/Retainer Assembly ½ turn.
 The retainer will rotate to the open position.
3. Slide the TCA off the fluid chamber.
 Be careful to retain the nozzle, seat, and O-ring as they may come free.
4. Remove the nozzle, seat, and O-ring from the fluid chamber

NOTE The nozzle and seat are a single part on the Unitized Nozzle.
5. Use the appropriate size nozzle cleaner to clean material from the nozzle orifice. Refer to
Table 6-1 for the correct type and size.
