Dual-Action Dispensing Head 13-5
Setup
The Dual-Action Dispensing Head is installed at the Asymtek factory or at your facility by
an Asymtek Field Service Engineer. Fluidmove software guides you through a one-time set
up, which establishes the offsets between the fluid pumps and Z-axis heights for the Height
Sensor probe, if equipped.
The Fluidmove for Windows NT (FmNT) application has a specific procedure for setting up
the Dual-Action Dispensing Head.
The setup process is essential ONLY under the following circumstances:
• First-time system installation
• Fluid pump replaced
• Height Sensor installed and probe moved in Z-direction
• Download Program memory erased or corrupted
• Needle Sensor removed
• Needle type changed
• System configuration changes (i.e. Z-Head adjustments)
CAUTION!
The needle will hit the substrate, workpiece or component if the
dispense gap parameter for dots and lines is not greater than 0.0.
See Fluidmove User Guide for line / dot parameter adjustment
procedures.
