Autotune
The Autotune feature of the temperature controller can select new PID values for you.
Follow the procedure listed below. Consult the OEM temperature controller manual (if
available) for more detailed information.
? NOTE The Autotune process can take up to two hours.
To use the Autotune feature:
1. Using the controls as described above, access the Secure Menu and set the following
parameters to the values shown:

SP2 0
Pb2 12
2. Using the controls as described above, access the Secondary Menu and set the following
parameters to the values shown:
tunE SELF
Strt YES
Lern End
You can occasionally check the status of the learning process by accessing the Secondary
Menu and
INDEXing to Strt. When YES changes to NO, the procedure is complete.
Minor Troubleshooting
• Consult the OEM temperature controller manual for a complete list of diagnostic
error messages and required actions.
• Make sure that all connections are secure.
• Call a service technician.
